Magick is the projection of natural energies to produce needed efforts in using one's will to create change in our environment. In other words wicca maybe considered a religion that uses magick in a religious framework but the craft may have religious applications through the persons connection with divine/source, but the practice itself maybe religious or it maybe a form of magick in which personal power is used in conjunction with natural energies to effect change. Now As Above, So Below, or, as it is in heaven, so it is on earth as most are familiar with, focuses upward in a spiritual sense sending your thoughts into the spiritual realm. The change you desire occurs on the spiritual plane first, before it can settle into the material one where you are. This is why most people experience a delay in their manifestations. To get what you want, change must occur. Sometimes the changes are minor, other times the changes you are asking for are much bigger, and several things must happen above as well as below for the desired outcome. See the invisible and visible are all manifestations of the divine. Everything is one. We are god, and God is us and the material world is an expression of the spiritual one. What happens on the here in the 3D visible plane, right in front of our nose, that we can see, feel/touch/grab, occurs in and on the invisible unseen spiritual plane, and vice versa.

But before we get too far ahead, it is true, YOU HOLD THE POWER to Change Thought Into Form. Now, Some magickal people (and historians, too) feel that the idea of changing thought into form began in ancient Egypt during its Greek reign, with a fellow named Hermes Trismegistus, who was most likely not a real person, but a collection of people involved in the study of alchemy. He may even have been Aristotle, who taught Alexander the Great and helped to conquer most of the known world at the time. Despite the fact that we have no clue who the author might be, Hermes Trismegistus (meaning "wisdom three times the greatest”) is known as the father of occult wisdom (though there is now debate that the first alchemists were women).
